Estimates, Pricing & Payment
How much does a repair estimate cost?
Our estimate fee is $55, paid up front when you bring in your unit. It is nonrefundable, covers diagnosing the problem, and is applied toward your repair bill if you approve the repair. Estimates for non-powered speakers and guitar pedals are $25.
Can you diagnose my problem without checking it out first?
No. Many audio problems have several possible causes, so we need to check your equipment on the bench to make an accurate diagnosis. That diagnosis is what the estimate fee covers.
Is my equipment worth repairing, or should I replace it?
It depends on the equipment, its condition, its value and what it means to you. Many quality vintage components are worth repairing. We will give you an honest estimate before any work starts, so you can decide.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or credit card. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments.

Warranty & Security
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. The work we perform is covered by a 60-day parts and labor warranty. It does not cover unrelated failures, new problems that develop after the repair, or physical or water damage done to the device after the repair.
Is my equipment safe while it is at your shop?
Yes. For the protection of customer equipment and our premises, our facility is protected by 24-hour video surveillance and monitored alarm systems. For security reasons, we do not publish details about our security equipment or its locations.
Units For Sale
Do you sell refurbished audio equipment?
Yes. Refurbished units that we have repaired and bench tested in our shop are listed on our website, and the inventory changes weekly. Mention that you saw a unit on our website and get 10% off the posted price. Units are available for local pickup, and shipping may be available depending on location.
